Natural Foods Boost Energy Levels
Gluten sensitivity is such an annoying problem and when its first diagnosed its really difficult to manage because you can’t seem to find anything to eat. After working my way through many gluten free versions of cakes and biscuits I realised that I preferred looking for an alternative, rather than a substitution. I started reading ingredient labels on everything I looked at in the supermarket and couldn’t believe the stuff I was eating in the substitute food. After moving to a more natural diet where I buy fresh produce, fresh fish and unprocessed, organic meats my body feels much happier. I have no digestive symptoms when I follow this diet and I have increased energy levels. I don’t eat perfectly, I still enjoy chocolate and some candies when I feel like a treat, but because I am eating quality food an getting good nutrition my body doesn’t really crave the stuff that was making me feel so awful. Realising that your food is your fuel and is responsible for your health and energy levels makes it much easier to embrace a different kind of diet.
