Our backyard looked so plain and uninviting. It looked just like all of the neighbors’ yards. We needed something to spice up the atmosphere, so we planted some new shrubs and colorful flowers. There was still something missing, though. We still didn’t want to spend any long periods of time out there, even though we had just purchased a beautiful set of patio furniture. Then one day I saw a magazine photo and realized it was the patio that was bringing down the whole space. We decided to have the old, cracked concrete patio removed and had brand new patio pavers installed. With the tremendous amount of color and size choices, we had a difficult time making a final decision. In the end, however, we were able to create our own little Tuscan inspired courtyard with our very own personal touches. Installing patio pavers was the best thing we could have done for our yard.
